After our 2012 field season, the archaeological site of Argyle 2 will be destroyed during the construction of the international airport runway and will no longer be available for research and study. To help support this year’s volunteer archaeology program, we are looking for organizations that would like to raise awareness for archaeology, both as an academic research tool as well as an ecotourism experience. We believe this will help foster a growing relationship between international archaeologists and new generations of local Vincentians (as there are currently no local archaeologists in St. Vincent).
